The perfect way to start your day! Class begins with breath awareness exercises and a few moments of quiet reflection.

Some gentle stretching opens the way to a practice of yoga poses to build strength, flexibility, and awareness. You will be inspired to deepen your mind-body connection and establish a fundamental understanding of “mind, body, spirit” into your practice. Incorporate breath with movement effectively into your flow as we mindfully explore concentration and meditation throughout the practice.

If you have ever been curious about taking a yoga class, this is your chance! You can be in any shape, whether that is body shape, or physical shape, even if it’s been a while since you last exercised. Because athletic abilities may vary greatly, I constantly tailor poses to accommodate individual skill levels and flexibility. Those new to yoga should not be discouraged or intimidated just because they can’t do complicated acrobatic moves on their first try. It is about participating versus getting everything perfect. It is not about being able to touch your toes, it’s about getting in touch with your body in a different way. It is about letting your mind relax and calm down, and not think about anything else but what your body is doing for that time. We choose to surround ourselves with body positive people. In this space, we nurture friendships and put bodily anxieties to rest.

Please arrive to the event 10-15 minutes before class starts and bring your yoga mat, towel and water cantgeen. If you do not have a yoga mat I have them for sale at $12 for a basic mat or $20 for a premium mat. 

Yoga offers us a path to greater understanding and a deeper connection to ourselves and others. This path requires our patience, compassion, reflection, and connection. It all starts with serving each other in a way that inspires unity through inclusion. Unity is what yoga is all about. This class is for EVERY BODY, because Yoga is for Every Body!
